The programme introduced a National Policy for Social Assistance for the poor and aims at ensuring minimum national standard for social assistance in addition to the benefits that states are currently providing or might provide in future. NSAP at present, comprises of Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS), Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme (IGNWPS), Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS), National Family Benefit Scheme (NFBS) and Annapurna. |

According to BPL list(Rural) , those people who aged 65 is eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.. |

Indira Ghandhi National Widow Pension Scheme |

According to BPL list(Rural/Urban) , those people who aged between 40 to 64 is eligible to get the benefit of this scheme. |

Indira Ghandhi National Disability Pension Scheme |

According to BPL list(Rural/Urban) , those people who aged between 18 to 64 is eligible to get the benefit of this scheme. under the act 1995 (PWD Act, 1995). |

National Family Benefit Scheme |

According to BPL list(Rural/Urban) , those people who aged between 18 to 64 is eligible to get pension when casualties of Head person in the family (within 30 days). |

Aam Admi Bima Yojna |
| |
Those family having 50 Dismil or no land and aged between 18 to 59 is eligible to get the benefit of this scheme. |

State Social Security Pension |
| |
Acording to BPL List (Rural/Urban), those aged between 18 to 64 is eligible to get the benefit of this scheme. |
